Wow - wonderful day yesterday. Burghley House, one of our local stately homes, opened its private garden for visitors. Small donation to charity required. Beautiful setting, wonderful flowers and amazing vistas.
Sun was shining. Gorgeous.
Had tea and cakes in the Orangery garden. (Cakes? I know. Tut tut. another 1,000 calories on the hips. But who would notice!)
Walked so far that I got blisters and chafing of the thighs but this was a small price to pay for a great day out.
